Ronnie Tullos is not a groomed career politician — he’s a lifelong Texan who’s worked tirelessly for his community as a construction worker, police officer, and small-business owner. He understands the struggles of hardworking families because he’s lived them himself.

As an iron worker for 40 years, Tullos honed his skills in hard work, teamwork, and leadership. Taking over as a Project Manager, Tullos gained ample experience in seeing a project through from start to finish while allocating the best people to get the job done efficiently and effictively.

A Certified Firearms Instructor, Tullos has worked closely with his community for years to educate them on the importance of firearm safety and having the freedom and ability to protect themselves and their families if ever the need was to arise.

Where I Stand

Ronnie Tullos is looking to bring the Republican Party back to it's roots. That means individual freedom and liberty comes first; a limited government; and a focus on enforcing the laws already in place opposed to adding newer and more invasive laws.

Government Transparency / Efficiency

The Texas economy, which ranks among the world's leaders in nominal GDP and surpasses countries such as Russia and Canada, generates significant revenue. This revenue could support well-funded schools, public services, and infrastructure. Ronnie Tullos suggests that wasteful spending might be affecting the system. As Governor, he plans to assess state spending closely to ensure that tax dollars are used efficiently and effectively.

Border Security

Currently, due to the efforts of the President, our border security has significantly improved, with illegal crossings at their lowest in decades. Should the President delegate full control of border policing back to the state, Tullos would pledge to maintain the same level of dedication and strength to safeguard our state and its citizens.

2nd Amendment Rights

Texans are widely recognized for embracing their Second Amendment rights. Ronnie Tullos, who has dedicated years to teaching firearms courses to his community, firmly believes in safeguarding our right to bear arms. He advocates that all individuals who are legally permitted should engage in gun ownership for safety reasons, provided they receive appropriate firearm education. In addition to defending this right, Mr. Tullos strongly opposes any red flag laws.

Property Taxes

No residents of Texas should be burdened with losing their home due to rising taxes after spending their hard-earned income on it. With the increasing population in Texas resulting in higher local revenues, there should not be a necessity for additional tax hikes. Tullos believes that similar to how unrealized stock market gains are not taxed, the county's appraised market value of a home should not increase the homeowner’s tax burden beyond the initial purchase value. This is an area Tullos intends to address upon assuming office.

Improving Education

No child should be stuck in an underperforming and underfunded school because of their zip code or their parent’s income level. As Governor, Tullos wants to address each school district individually, as the issues at one district may not be the same plaguing another. He believes that we should be able to get our schools funded and our teachers better paid across the entire state to help provide our children with the best education in the country.

Protecting Women

We need to empower our female athletes to reach their potential by granting them access to a fair and level playing field. Allowing biological males to compete in women’s sports defeats the essence of fair competition and the years of hard work these athletes undergo, as well as being dangerous in certain instances. Tullos will do whatever it takes to protect these athletes from having to compete against them on the field of play, as well as keep their locker rooms and bathrooms free of males as their feelings towards the matter have often been overlooked or ignored for political agendas.

Ronnie didn’t just become a police officer for a job—he wore the badge out of love for his community, working nights and weekends to protect his neighbors while building a career in construction to support his family. He knows what it means to work multiple jobs, raise kids as a single father, and fight for opportunities in the very towns he’s spent his life protecting.
