Ronnie Tullos Announces Candidacy for Governor of Texas

Promising Strong Leadership, People-First Solutions, and a New Vision for Texas. 

[Splendora, TX] – Today, Ronnie Tullos, a long-time public servant, officially announced his candidacy for Governor of Texas in the upcoming 2026 election. With a campaign focused on tackling the issues of everyday citizens, strengthening the Texas economy, protecting individual freedoms, and ensuring a better future for all Texans, Tullos enters the race as the voice of the people, opposed to the special-interest-focused career politicians.  

“Texans deserve leadership that they know. Someone they’ve seen at Wal-Mart and Home Depot. Someone that shares their values and their concerns,” said Tullos. “I’m running for Governor because I believe I can bring the voice of Texans’ to the forefront, not just during the election cycle, but for my entire tenure in office.” 

Ronnie Tullos brings with him a strong record as a public servant, currently serving as a Captain for the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office. He has long championed for individual liberties, a strong and secure border, and reforms in education and public services that will benefit all Texans.  

Tullos will be traveling across the state over the coming months to meet with the voters, business owners, and city officials to listen to their concerns, and share their vision for the future of Texas.
